"It is the shade of yellow enhanced by the sunrise, the texture and curls of the petals, and the mathematical symmetry of the center of the sunflower that create this complex beautiful photo. Taken early one morning near Harwood, North Dakota."
North Dakota is the top producer of sunflowers in the United States, growing about half of the nation's total. You do not have to travel far past Fargo city limits to see fields full of them. This photograph captures the intricate make up of the flower, allowing one to appreciate the complex beauty one does not see from afar. This full color print measures 20"W x 16"H and was photographed by local Fargo artist Scott Seiler.
