March in Fargo is jam-packed with awesome events. From concerts, to family friendly events, to bar crawls - your March is certain to fly into April before you can blink. Thanks to the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitor’s Bureau as our main source for tourist information, we give you all the March events to anticipate:

March 1st: Moorhead Dairy Queen Opening Day!

Come rain, snow, sleet, or hail – The Moorhead DQ will still have their opening day! The Moorhead DQ is one of the oldest original stores in the entire Dairy Queen system – they have been open since 1949! They feature an outdoor patio and walk-up style service, and they’ll be ready to “serve up a smile” on March 1^st!

March 2nd: Kid Quest

Stop by the Plains Art Museum between 1:00 and 4:00 on March 2^nd and bring your kiddos for a fun afternoon! Kids will be given the opportunity to visit the galleries, get inspired, and head over to the studio to create art. The event is free, but be sure to register here!

March 7th – 10th: Disney On Ice: Worlds of Enchantment

Coming to the FargoDome this March is Disney on Ice with four of your favorite Disney stories! Join Ariel, the Toy Story gang, the cast of Frozen and Cars, and get ready for a night your kids will never forget. Tickets are available here!

March 9th: The Celtic Festival

Returning to Moorhead’s Hjemkomst Center is the traditions of the seven Celtic Nations. Enjoy art, history, activities, and cultural foods from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm! Find more information here.

March 16th – St. Pat’s 5k,10k & Kids' Run and St. Patrick's Day Parade

March 16^th is a pretty busy day for us FM residents! Put on your best green track suit, and sign up to run! Get your race day information here. If running isn’t your cup of tea (or pint of green beer), head downtown and enjoy the 23^rd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade starting at 11:00 AM!

March 16th – Fargo Bacon and Beer Festival

Back at the FargoDome for the 4^th year is the Bacon and Beer Festival! Enjoy bacon samples, 100+ beer varieties, mechanical pig riding and live entertainment! Find more information here.

March 16th – St Patrick's Day Pub Crawl

For the 7^th year, head downtown to the participating bars, get your passport stamped, and earn your St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl metal! Be sure to wear green and enjoy a pint of green beer with your friends!

March 29th and 30th – PRCA Championship Rodeo

The rodeo is back in town and the best of the best are competing! Head over to the FargoDome on March 29^th and 30^th to see some of the region’s most talented athletes compete to make it to the Wrangler National Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada!

Beyond these activities, there are a plethora of others to keep you well entertained while we endure the last few months of cold! Be sure to partake in karaoke night, bring your family to the Fargo Force games, and enjoy the concerts available at the FargoDome!
