Local June Events

Local June Events

Posted by Jack Machacek in reference to the Fargo Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau on May 22nd 2019

The grass is green and the sun is back out (for the most part), and it’s time to start crawling out from our warm homes and going to some local events. For your convenience, we’ve compiled a short list of some great events in town that would be better with your smiling face. Read on and mark your calendars!

Happy Harry’s RibFest

On June 5th through the 8th is Happy Harry’s RibFest! They have rib vendors from around the nation as well as entertainment, and maybe the opportunity to make some new friends.

Cruisin’ Old Broadway Car Show

On June 6th, we'll have the Cruisin’ Old Broadway Car Show in town from 4:00 to 10:00 pm. If you’re a big fan of automobiles and beer, this is the event for you.

Unglued and Drekker Brewing Summer Craft Market

If you still haven’t had enough beer between RibFest and the Car Show, then the Unglued and Drekker Brewing Summer Craft Market is just the place for you. From 2:00 – 8:00 pm on June 9th at Drekker’s beautiful new Brewhalla location, you can experience the best of both worlds with crafts AND craft beer, with Unglued’s local vendors and their handmade products. What better way to say “I love beer,” than by sporting one of our local beer shirts? (And no, they don’t come in child sizes).

Find the t-shirt pictured above here, and the pint glass here!

This tee is available in kelly green and navy blue!

Eat United Food Truck Feed

If beer is not your thing, and that’s just fine with us, we have some great events for you, too. From 11:30 – 2:30 pm on June 12th at the 45th St. and 13th Ave. intersection, the Eat United Food Truck Feed is back! They will have a variety of food truck goodies and some proceeds going to United Way of Cass-Clay, as well! There is also great opportunity for some outdoor activity in the nice warm weather.

Streets Alive

Get out and get active! The annual Streets Alive event will be taking place from 12:00 – 5:00 pm on June 23th. You can take your bikes, skates, and what-have-you’s all down Broadway.

Race the Red Canoe & Kayak Race

Lastly, we have the legendary Race the Red Canoe & Kayak Race on June 10th. As the name implies, this is a race down the infamous Red River. Along with a canoe or kayak, a great addition to this race would be one of our own, Unremarkable Red River T-Shirts. We can’t promise it will make you faster, but we don’t know for sure that it won’t, and you would sure look fly anyway.

Find our "Unremarkable Red River" tee here!

That is about all the events we have on this list for June! If you are looking for more events, or curious about the ones we listed, feel free to check out this website for more information. If none of these events interest you, we still suggest that you spend some time Downtown Fargo. It’s a great community and you might just make some new friends!
