What is your favorite part about Fargo?
The community. This city thrives with friendly, creative people who love gathering together and supporting each other. Fargo is full of young ambitious people and I love the thriving atmosphere that brings.

Describe your style:
I am a NoDak landscape and astro-photographer. My goal in photography is to capture dream-like moments in nature that I do not want to end; where I feel like I'm in a trance of absolute peace.

Who is your artistic inspiration/idol?
Terry Redlin: His love for the outdoors and creating dreamy paintings of the Dakotas has inspired me since a young age. Though many of his works are imagined, my goal in photography is to capture dream-like moments that warm the heart and bring contentment to your soul.

Ansel Adams: I have loved Adams' work since a young age. His dramatic landscapes have inspired me to seek out new horizons and venture the unknown places.

What is your professional goal?
I've already started, but I have a long way to go: owning my own business in photography and graphic design. I plan to purchase my LLC this spring, so that's a huge step for the next chapter of my endeavors. (Frozen Pines Photography is my photography name.) I want to work independently and do freelance work. However, I would love to work for the National Weather Service, NatGeo, or be a park ranger for state parks and national parks. I grew up in the country and love big game hunting. I love the outdoors, and I want to capture everything I experience.
